The National Housing & Rehabilitation Association elected officers and board members at its 2010 Annual Meeting on March 10-14 in Miami Beach, Fla.
All current officers were re-elected for another one-year term, including Larry Curtis, WinnCompanies, Boston, to a new term as President. The board also re-elected current board members to a new term and approved a slate of new board members.
In addition, the board approved changes in NH&RA staff titles. Peter Bell, previously Executive Director, is now President & CEO of NH&RA. Thom Amdur, previously Executive Vice President, has been promoted to Executive Director of NH&RA.
“For more than five years now, Thom has been instrumental in expanding the scope and membership of NH&RA to take it to the next level on the legislative, regulatory, and market fronts to promote tax credit and affordable housing development and the professionals and firms involved in these fields,” said Bell. “Thom’s promotion to Executive Director recognizes his invaluable contributions in making NH&RA what it is today.”
