Kentucky Approves 2010 Allocation Plan      

The Kentucky Housing Corporation has released its final qualified allocation plan (QAP) for its 2010 low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. About $9 million in housing credits will be available for allocation in KHC’s 2010 funding round, which will be an “open window process” in which applications are accepted starting 1/20/10 until credits are no longer available.

Nebraska Releases Final 2010 Application Package      

The Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA) has released its 2010 LIHTC program application package, including its final 2010 QAP. About $4.1 million will be available in 2010 in two funding rounds, with final full application deadlines of 1/29/10 and 4/23/10.

Arkansas Releases 2010 QAP      

The Arkansas Development Finance Authority has released its final QAP for its 2010 LIHTC. ADFA will hold a single funding round with an application deadline of 2/5/10. Among the changes from 2009 include to: increase the eligible basis of any qualified low-income new building by 30% if it is a building with a qualified assisted living development or located in certain designated low-income counties or counties declared as disaster areas; increase the assisted living set-aside to $1,250,000; and boost the public housing agencies’ set-aside to $600,000.

Wisconsin Finalizes QAP Amendments      

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority has released final amendments to its QAP for 2009/2010, and posted a summary on its Web site. One application round is scheduled with applications to be accepted January 15 through February 5, 2010.

Utah Releases Draft 2010 QAP      

The Utah Housing Corporation has released its draft 2010 QAP for its LIHTC program. The agency is proposing one funding round with an application deadline of 2/1/10.

Georgia Schedules Public Hearings on 2010 QAP      

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has scheduled three public hearings to solicit public comments on proposed changes to its QAP for its 2010 LIHTC program. The agency said its draft 2010 QAP will be made available on 11/3/09, and that written comments will be accepted through 11/30/09. The hearings are scheduled for November 17 (Atlanta), 18 (Columbus), and 24 (Dublin.)

Illinois Releases Draft 2010 QAP      

The Illinois Housing Development Authority has issued its draft QAP for its 2010 LIHC program. A public hearing is scheduled for 11/3/09 in Chicago, and written comments will be accepted through 11/16/09.

Mississippi Releases Summary of Proposed QAP Changes      

The Mississippi Home Corporation has released a summary of proposed revisions to its QAP for its 2010 LIHTC program. The proposed funding round application deadline is 4/9/10.
