Kentucky Issues Draft 2010 QAP
The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has issued a draft qualification allocation plan (QAP) for calendar 2010 for its low-income housing tax credit program. The draft QAP is posted on the agency’s Web site, at http://www.kyhousing.org. KHC anticipates accepting tax credit applications beginning on 1/20/10. Applicants will have to meet all threshold requirements and achieve a minimum score to be approved. Credits will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to “shovel ready” projects.
Maryland Solicits Applications for Trust Funds
The Maryland Affordable Housing Trust is soliciting applications for trust fund monies by 10/1/09 in its new application cycle. The funds can be used for affordable housing projects in Maryland serving households earning less than 50% of the area or statewide median income. Eligible applicants are nonprofits, for-profit entities, public housing authorities, and government agencies. Details are posted at http://www.dhcd.state.md.us/Website/programs/maht/maht.aspx.
